This Cookie and Tracking Notice (“Notice”) explains how GPS Insight, Inc. and its affiliates and brands, including GPS Insight, ServiceBridge, ClearPathGPS, FieldAware, and TitanGPS (collectively, “GPS Insight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), use cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our websites or use our online services. This Notice describes the types of cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences. Some of our Services and third-party products integrated with the Services may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated technologies, including AI-enabled cameras and machine learning systems. Where applicable, this Notice describes how cookies and similar tracking technologies may interact with or support AI and automated data processing features. If you are a business customer, the processing of personal information related to the Services may also be governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”). For more information, please contact us at [email protected].
This Notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which is available at gpsinsight.com and provides comprehensive information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. To the extent of any conflict between this Notice and the Privacy Policy with respect to cookie and tracking practices, this Notice shall govern.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or other internet-connected device to identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember information about you such as your language preference or login information. Cookies are safe and cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device. We use first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies on our websites to support core operations, understand site activity, and enhance the user experience.
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- To facilitate the operation and functionality of our websites;
- To improve your experience of our websites and make navigating around them quicker and easier;
- To allow us to make a bespoke user experience for you and for us to understand what is useful or of interest to you;
- To analyze how our websites are used and how best we can customize them;
- To identify future prospects and personalize marketing and sales interactions; and
- To facilitate the tailoring of online advertising to your interests.
Cookies can be either session cookies or persistent cookies. A session cookie expires automatically when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains until it expires or you delete it. Expiration dates are set in the cookies themselves; some may expire after a few minutes while others may expire after multiple years. Cookies placed directly by us are called “first-party cookies,” while cookies placed by our partners and service providers are called “third-party cookies.”
1.1. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are required for site functionality, session management, authentication, and security. They cannot be disabled, as essential features depend on them. Our legal basis for using these cookies is our legitimate interest in providing a functional website and, where applicable, performance of a contract with you.
Performance and Analytics Cookies. These cookies help us understand how visitors use our site, including which pages are viewed, how long they are viewed, and how users navigate through the site. We use cookies served by Google Analytics to collect limited data directly from end-user browsers to enable us to better understand your use of our websites. Further information on how Google collects and uses this data can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can opt out of all Google-supported analytics on our websites by visiting: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our legal basis for using these cookies is your consent.
Functional Cookies. These cookies remember user preferences such as language, display settings, and previously viewed items to create a consistent user experience. Our legal basis for using these cookies is your consent.
Advertising and Targeting Cookies. These cookies support interest-based advertising, measure campaign performance, and reduce repetition of ads you have already seen. They may be set by us or authorized third parties. Our legal basis for using these cookies is your consent.
Social Media Cookies. These cookies are used when you share information using a social media sharing button or “like” button on our websites, or when you link your account or engage with our content on or through a social networking website such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or similar platforms. The social network will record that you have done this. These cookies may also include certain code that has been placed on the platform to help track conversions from ads, optimize ads based on collected data, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to qualified users who have already taken certain action on the platform. Our legal basis for using these cookies is your consent.
Other Tracking Technologies. We may use other technologies to help with diagnostics, measurement, support, and personalization:
- Web beacons, pixels, tags, and scripts for analytics and marketing
- Local storage (including HTML5 local storage, session storage, and browser caches) to maintain app or session settings
- SDKs and mobile identifiers for mobile functionality, app usage, performance, device diagnostics, analytics, and attribution (subject to device or platform settings)
- Log files and telemetry, including IP address, device and browser type, operating system, timestamps, crash data, and feature interactions
1.2. FIRST-PARTY AND THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
- First-party cookies are set directly by us.
- Third-party cookies are set by trusted partners providing analytics, ads, or integrated functionality. Use is subject to the partners’ privacy policies.
1.3. THIRD-PARTY BUTTONS AND INTEGRATED FEATURES
Our websites may include buttons, tools, or content that link to other companies’ services (for example, social media sharing features). When you interact with these features, some information from your browser may automatically be sent to the other company. We also maintain pages on social networking sites, and we may collect information when you interact with our social networking pages. This Notice does not apply to those third parties’ collection or use of information. Please review the privacy policies of those third parties for more information.
1.4. COOKIES AND AI-ENABLED FEATURES
Some of our services and third-party products integrated with our platform use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated technologies. Cookies and similar tracking technologies on our websites and in our applications may collect or transmit data that is used by, or in conjunction with, these AI and automated systems. For example:
- Session and device data collected via cookies may be analyzed by automated systems to generate safety scores, behavioral reports, and fleet optimization insights.
- Location and telematics data associated with your device or account may be processed by AI-enabled features to generate route analytics and predictive insights.
- De-identified or anonymized data derived from tracking technologies may be used to train or improve AI and machine learning models used in connection with the Services.
- Data generated or processed by AI and automated technologies is subject to the same security measures as other personal information, as described further below in this Notice.
- We do not operate the AI systems embedded in third-party camera or telematics products, but we may receive and process data outputs generated by those systems as part of our Services.
2. MANAGING YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES
You have several options for managing cookies and tracking technologies on our websites.
2.1. COOKIE CONSENT BANNER
When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” or “Privacy Preferences” link in the footer of our website, which will reopen the consent banner.
2.2. BROWSER CONTROLS
You may also manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Disable or block cookies in your browser settings
- Delete existing cookies stored on your device
- Configure “Do Not Track” or similar privacy signals (supported where legally required)
- Limit interest-based advertising via:
- Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) tools
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out tools
- Device-level advertising settings on mobile
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings or preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may affect your overall user experience, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also prevent you from saving customized settings like login information. Disabling essential cookies may cause parts of the site to function improperly.
Browser manufacturers provide help pages relating to cookie management. Common browsers include Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari (Desktop and Mobile), Android Browser, and Opera.
2.3. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) feature that signals to websites that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. GPS Insight does not currently respond to web browser “Do Not Track” signals or other similar transmissions that indicate a request to disable online tracking. If you opt out of data collection and subsequently use our websites through a different device or change your cookie or privacy settings, you may need to opt out again.
2.4. ONLINE ADVERTISING INTEREST-BASED ADS
We advertise online, including displaying GPS Insight ads across the Internet on websites and in applications. When we advertise online to you, we may collect information about which ads are displayed to you, which ads you click on, and the web page where the ad was displayed. We may partner with third-party advertising companies to serve online advertising regarding our products and services to you after you visit our website. For more information on such advertising practices, you may visit http://www.aboutads.info. To opt out of such targeting, you may visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or download the applicable apps at http://www.aboutads.info/appchoices.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our use of cookies that are not strictly necessary requires your prior consent under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive. Our legal basis for processing cookie-related data is described for each cookie category in Section 1 above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (https://www.dataprotection.ie).

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. GPS Insight will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
Canada (PIPEDA). If you are located in Canada, we collect, use, and disclose personal information obtained through cookies and tracking technologies only with your consent, or as otherwise authorized by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time through our cookie consent banner or browser settings, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. To exercise your rights or submit an inquiry, please contact us at [email protected].
Automated Decision-Making. Where applicable under law, you may have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling using data collected through cookies, that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
